Stop #15: Blauvelt, New York, USA

Bailey’s Smokehouse
This restaurant has been in the neighborhood since 1995. I would not in a million years think that I could find outrageously delicious BBQ in Blauvelt, NY (Rockland County). I mean I have had many kinds of BBQ before, but nothing tasted like this. They definitely put their own unique twist on all the dishes!

The wings were crispy outside and tender inside. The spicy bowl of chili was very tasty.

The sausage was smoked perfectly and the brisket was out-of-this-world good. Pulled chicken and baby back ribs were also amazing.

Stars of the night: southern fried chicken and sweet corn souffle. I would eat the sweet corn souffle itself as a meal, any time of the day. It melted in my mouth. Once I had one bite, I could not stop! The fried chicken was just superb. I was left speechless.
